Hi, I’m Noelle. To make a long story short, I made my way to dance through organized sports and have not looked back since. As far back as I can remember, I’ve looked to the body as a rich place of inquiry and learning that sustains my own creativity and curiosity. I’ve realized over the years that my body is a reflection and critical point of connection to myself (uh, duh), others, and the world around me (yes, this took me years to figure out).  My relationship to dance has an ebb and flow to it. Today, my dance practice and research prioritizes collaborative authorship (sharing the labor of creation and learning with others), deep listening (honoring and cultivating a safe space to perceive and articulate our bodily knowledge), and interdisciplinary practice (expanding ideas of embodiment through moving, writing, and thinking). Thanks for reading my bio.
